Nordic-walking is a new sport that is quickly becoming popular around the globe. It started out in Finland and has since spread to Germany, Australia, China and the United States: today millions of people enjoy Nordic-walking!
Nordic-walking, one of the world’s fastest-growing sports, uses poles designed especially for this activity. It offers an easy, natural and effective way to improve one’s physical condition and tone muscles, regardless of age, sex or fitness level.
Plus, it’s fun, relaxing and inexpensive. Nordic-walking uses approximately 90% of the muscles in the body without excessively straining joints and provides all the benefits of a complete workout.
Each of the three levels of Nordic-walking -- wellness, fitness and sport -- offers the right exercises and training to suit one’s physical condition: from an easy and therapeutic walk to aerobic training and specific workouts for athletes.
